Nacido en Valencia de Alcántara, Cáceres, en 1.930.
Fernando Mayoral es un escultor de obra muy amplia y diversa, reconocido con numerosos premios, y que ha ejercido la docencia como catedrático en el Instituto Torres Villarroel y en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Salamanca.
Tiene en la Semana Santa de Zamora dos obras; La Santa Cena y La Conversión del Centurión.
